Hello Neighbours and Cottagers (both future and present),

My name is Jon Tyas, Sales Representative with Royal Lepage In Touch Realty in the Parry Sound/Muskoka region. Within a year of graduating from university with a degree in economics and business, I bought my first cottage on Horseshoe Lake. It was there where the cottage bug — and black flies — bit me, establishing my love of northern life and the aspiration of one day settling there permanently.
Now after being a seasonal resident in “cottage country” for more than 22 years, I am helping clients negotiate the best possible deal when either listing or buying waterfront property. My background is in negotiation. Having spent 15 years as a sales executive negotiating with Fortune 500 corporations, I understand the process, the complexities and the due diligence needed to close and complete a contractual negotiation satisfactory to both parties.

Concentrating on Georgian Bay, Parry Sound and Muskoka waterfront properties, you will find me either out in my boat showing island properties or at my home office on Georgian Bay. During the winter months, I remain in contact with a great number of people in the GTA where I continue to consult there with clients to discuss future plans, marketing strategies and opportunities for vacation properties.
